Bill Yom graduated from a private school of arts and communication in Hamburg, Germany and started his creative career in 1999 in the middle of the hype of digital communication at Elephant Seven. The time came, and he moved into “classical” advertising agencies such as Springer & Jacoby, Jung
von Matt, KNSK and Interone/BBDO, where he has worked and is still working for global brands like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Nike, Coca Cola and many more. From 2021, he has been chosen to be part of Jung Von Matt - as the Chief Creative Officer and Managing Partner - he has opened Jung von Matt Hangang in Seoul, South Korea.
Besides judging at international Award Shows like Clio Awards, New York Festivals, AME and Dubai Lynx. His Work has also been honored continuously at international Awards Shows with Grand Prix, Gold, Silver, Bronze Trophies at the D&AD(Black, White, Yellow, Graphite-Pencil), New York Festivals, The One Show, Clio Awards, London International Awards, ADC Germany, ADC Europe, Spikes Asia, Eurobest and Cannes Lions.
Recently he has been leading the Cannes Lions Innovation Jury as the first ever Jury President from South Korea and also took charge as the Jury
President for Spikes Asia Creative eCommerce and Brand Activation.
He has been ranked among the Top 100 Creatives in APAC Region and Top 3
Creatives of South Korea.
